Eight months after the start of the Bardan Gompa School project, the Zanskar Schools Foundation was founded on the 12th of August 2009.

The board of the Zanskar Schools Foundation guarantees that all financial contributions will be converted for the full 100% to the goals of the foundation. All extra cost will be borne by the boardmembers.
